Trent Fernandez is the adopted son of Anton Mercer, who took him in after his birth parents were destroyed.  Trent is a junior at Reefside High, where he met the other Rangers.

       After obtaining the White Dino Gem, Trent finds that he has a "chameleon ability," that is, he can blend into his surroundings.  Once the evil White Ranger, Trent now fights alongside the Dino Thunder team.  His interests are drawing, hanging out with his friends at Hayley's Cyberspace, and Kira!
